Langan Park Dredging | Boating Coming Soon

HUGHES Companies Inc. crews are hard at work removing 225,000 cubic yards of sediment from the bottom of Langan Lake. Amphibious excavators rolled into the lake on Friday morning to start digging up decades of sediment and muck. This long-awaited project will not only improve the water quality and get rid of invasive species, but it’ll also open Langan Lake up to more fun activities like kayaking and canoeing. This is the third phase of a bigger restoration effort in the Three Mile Creek Watershed. It’ll go hand in hand with the major improvements that have already been made along Twelve Mile Creek. This is just one of the many ways we’re expanding recreational activities and helping Mobilians get back to the water. Hughes Companies Installs Over 23,000ft of HDPE Pipe

HUGHES Companies, Inc. showcases their newest tool the Komatsu Dozer D651i Bron Plow Attachment. Our crew installed over 23,000ft of 3in High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) Pipe northbound on I-65 in Conecuh County, AL. The Bron Plow is the perfect tool to install fiber optics, copper cable, conduit and pipe up to 5ft at record speed.

Mobile's New Arena Foundation Surcharge

HUGHES Companies, Inc. recently completed the Foundation Surcharge of Mobile's New Arena facility will be a new, world-class entertainment destination suited for concerts, family shows and sporting events. Our crew laid over 50,000cyd material by our 2,500 truckloads with the job being completed on schedule.
